COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) -- Rain showers have cleared the viewing area and the clouds will follow suit throughout the remainder of the evening and tonight while temperatures become chilly by Monday morning.
Starting off the week cool with temperatures dipping into the mid 40s and a few low 40s and upper 30s likely across our northern tier counties under mostly clear skies. Throughout the day temperatures warm into the upper 60s and low 70s by the afternoon under sunny skies.
Temperatures remain cool through Tuesday morning with readings falling again into the mid 40s. Warmer and more seasonal for the afternoon under clear blue skies. By the midweek, the 80s return in the forecast along with a few more clouds.
Mid to late next week temperatures climb into the low 80s and return more seasonal to above average with mid 80s by next weekend. Forecast remains dry through the extended as we don’t see any main disturbances that will cause rainfall.
