COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) -- Last day of seeing 80 degree temperatures across the region as a cold front sweeps through the southeast bringing along with it cooler temperatures and showers and storms.
Seeing scattered showers and storms for the remainder of the evening for areas south of Columbus. Tonight a lull in the activity as showers and storms taper off under overcast skies. Temperatures are noticeably cooler through the overnight with a cloudy and damp day for Sunday.
Sunday will see a better coverage of showers and a few storms as the frontal system pushes through. Likely to see some clearing as early as Sunday evening with lingering clouds into Monday morning.
Monday starts off cool with readings in the 40s and highs climbing into the upper 60s with clearing skies. Tuesday and Wednesday we will likely see a great forecast with mid to upper 70s and a few low 80s across the region. By the end of next week temperatures are once again back into the low 80s.
