Trotter Barringer wins Georgia's Strongest Man, now prepares for Nationals

COLUMBUS (WRBL) - Trotter Barringer's road to winning the title of Georgia's strongest man began almost a decade ago. Barringer was just an average guy, with no training. However, much has changed since then.

Barringer began training for the strongman competitions, and has since improved dramatically. Competing in the Open Super Heavyweight weight class, Barringer won the Georgia Strongest Man competition. This competition was held in Columbus, and Barringer was able to celebrate the victory with family and friends.

However, the job is far from done. Barringer now gets to see how he stacks up against competition from all around the country as he will compete at Nationals on September 20-21. This competition will be held in Greenville, South Carolina at the Greenville Convention Center.

Of course, WRBL is wishing Trotter the best of luck in that competition. You can see an exclusive interview with Barringer in the video player above.
