Over $40,000 worth of drugs including suspected fentanyl seized from Russell County home

RUSSELL COUNTY, Ala. (WRBL) — The Russell County Sheriff's Office announced on Friday over $40,000 worth of drugs including potential fentanyl were seized from a local home.

According to RCSO, the operation at Whatley Drive resulted in the following:

  • "380 grams of suspected methamphetamine (street value: $38,000)
  • 36 grams of suspected fentanyl (street value: $3,600)
  • 26 grams of suspected cocaine (street value: $2,600
  • 44 grams of suspected marijuana (street value: $880)
  • 20 Xanax pills
  • 6 Adderall pills
  • Stagg Arms AR 15 rifle
  • Taurus G3 9mm handgun
  • $13,095 in cash"

Samuel Coulter and Mikayla Cole were arrested.

The two suspects both face these charges:

  • Trafficking fentanyl
  • Trafficking meth
  • Possession with intent to distribute cocaine
  • First-degree possession of marijuana
  • Possessional of controlled substance amphetamine
  • Possession of controlled substance alprazolam

Both suspects are being held at Russell County Jail on a $350,000 bond.

Harris County Sheriff's Office and Columbus Police Department assisted in this case.
