HAMILTON, Ga. (WRBL) — The Harris County School District is holding a festive, fundraising run on Saturday.
The inaugural "Tiger Way Holiday 5K Run/Walk" kicks off at the stadium (8281 GA-116) at 8 a.m. Proceeds go to a fund for students and teachers.
“This is an exciting opportunity for our community to come together in the spirit of the season while supporting our students and teachers,” said Lindie Snyder, Principal of Harris County High School. “We encourage everyone to get involved, whether you’re running or walking, and help make this event a success.”
The three fastest finishers will receive a prize, and the "Mrs. Claus" award will be given to the most festive participant.
Early bird registration is $30 and runs through Dec 11. Day-of registration will be $40.
