LEE COUNTY, Ala. (WRBL) – The badly decomposed body of a man was discovered inside a vehicle Sunday evening in the Beauregard community of Lee County, and officials believe he may have been dead for several weeks.
Lee County Coroner Daniel Sexton confirmed the man—identified as Louie Alford, known to friends as “Bobo”—was found around 7:00 p.m. in a trailer park on Lee Road 621.
Investigators believe Alford, 44, had been living in his vehicle and may have been deceased inside it for several weeks before being discovered.
“There are no signs of foul play at this time,” Sexton said.
According to officials, Alford had a history of medical issues. The body has been sent to the Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences for an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death.
