Isabelle Daza writes another children's book.
Remember her animated book explaining COVID-19 in April 2020?
This time, the soon-to-be mother of two reveals in her Instagram Stories that her project is an "autobiography" of sorts.
It focuses on Isabelle's relationship with her long-time nanay Yaya Luning.
"Yaya Luning is part of our family," the actress-host writes. "I wanted to come from the point of view of someone who grew up with a yaya."
This children's short story intends to show the "dynamic of having a yaya in a family unit." It also explains how yayas don't "replace the role of the mother."
The daughter of Gloria Diaz says, "I know a lot of moms feel guilt or shame when the child chooses the yaya / nanny over them sometimes."
Through the book, Isabelle wants to "convey that a yaya has a special place in a child's heart."
She also wants to give "dignity to the yayas out there who selflessly dedicate their lives caring for their 'alagas' / other children."
Isabelle, who holds a degree in Early Childhood Education, adds that nannies "need love and care as well."
The book shows their "family dynamic."
When things are done right, a mom-yaya-kid relationship will be harmonious and enduring.
She is thinking of self-publishing the children's book.
Back in college, she also wrote a children’s book dedicated to her beloved yaya. It was a school project.
The pregnant mom is currently based in Hong Kong where her husband Adrien Semblat works. She is with her son Baltie.
Of course, her Yaya Luning is by her side as well.
