Social-media sensation Mimiyuuuh is diving into the music scene.
The YouTube star released her debut single "DYWB (Drink Your Water B*tch)" on October 1, 2020 under O/C Records, Kean Cipriano's record label.
The song's title is taken from a phrase she often uses in her vlogs.
Rapping has always been one of her creative outputs, and Mimiyuuuh does not really mind if her songs don't please everyone.
In an exclusive interview with PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) via e-mail last Friday, January 22, 2021, Mimiyuuuh said, "I do music po for myself, to express my creativity so if hindi po nagustuhan ng ibang tao, keri lang.
"Pero if someone liked it po, grabe iyong taste nila, impeccable. IMPECCABLE SUPER!!!!!! xhnz! HAHAHAHHAHA!"
Mimiyuuuh hopes to make a mark with her "fun, careless, and optimistic" songs, and her fans are already looking forward to more music releases.
Will she be releasing new songs this year?
Mimiyuuuh answered, "Not album po siguro pero mga single-single lang po."
Asked about artists she dreams of working with, Mimiyuuuh said, "Puwede po ako to collaborate with Shanti Dope, Because, Al James or even Gloc-9 po!!! I super love OPM hip-hop po. SLIT!!"
Aside from these well-known OPM rappers, Mimiyuuuh is also open to doing another song with P-Pop group SB19.
Mimiyuuuh and the five-member boyband recently worked on the jingle and music video of a shopping app's ongoing campaign.

However, they were not able to bond with each other much because of the health protocols implemented on the set.
She said, "Because of the pandemic, medyo nililimit po iyong tao sa set so hindi po kami masyadong nagkasama sa set. Pero still, it’s an honor to be working with very talented and hardworking people like SB19!!"
