Duterte kabado sa mga Senate bet ng PDP

Mismong si Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte aminado na mahihirapan ang PDP-Laban na maipanalo lahat ng mga kandidato nito sa pagka-senador.

Inihayag ito ni Pangulong Duterte sa panayam sa kanya ng SMNI News Channel kamakalawa kung saan binanggit nito na dumalo siya sa paghahain ng certificate of candidacy (COC) ng mga kandidato sa pagka-senador ng PDP-Laban.

“I attended the filing of certificates of candidacy this afternoon before I flew in to give them the necessary moral support,” pahayag ng Pangulo.

Matatandaang dumating si Pangulong Duterte sa Sofitel Hotel sa Pasay City kung saan naghain ng COC ang mga kandidato ng administrasyon sa pagka-senador.

Itinaas ng Pangulo ang kamay nina dating Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Secretary Mark Villar, Agrarian Reform secretary John Castriciones, Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) Secretary Gregorio Honasan, Chief Presidential Legal Counsel Salvador Panelo, Presidential Anti-Corruption Commission chairperson Greco Belgica, Rep. Rodante Marcoleta, actor na si Robin Padilla at broadcaster Rey Langit.

Sa kabila nito, sinabi rin ng Pangulo na may tsansa ang mga Senate bet ng kanilang partido kung sisipagan lamang ang pangangampanya.

“I think that if we work hard, we have a good chance of making it,” sabi ng Pangulo.

“I hope it would be all so because we’re asking for a complete change of the present crop of senators. It’s a tall order, actually, but we will try our best, it’s hard work,” dagdag pa nito.(Prince Golez)
