UPDATE 6/13/2022, 3:20 p.m.: According to Sergeant Aaron Evrard, Columbus Police are investigating a suspicious person who was in the area. Sergeant Evrard says avoid the area.
EMS are also on the scene. News 3 will continue to monitor the situation.
COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) — Officers are on the scene of an incident at the intersection of 19th Ave. and 13th St. through 14th St.
A News 3 reporter responded to the scene at around 2:30 p.m.
Caution tape blocked off the area with four to six Columbus Police cars present. No markers were seen at this time.
