Nasagip ng mga tauhan ng Department of the Interior and Local Government(DILG) at Philippine National Police – National Capital Region Police Office (PNP–NCRPO), ang 15 menor de edad na biktima ng cybersex sa Maynila.
Pinangunahan ni DILG Sec. Benhur Abalos, at NCRPO Chief Police Brig. Gen. Jonnel Estomo, ang operasyon sa isang bahay sa Sampaloc.
Naaresto naman ng mga awtoridad ang dalawang bugaw.
Sinabi ni Abalos na kinokondena ng administrasyon ni Pangulong Bongbong Marcos ang cyberporn at iba pang iligal na aktibidad lalo na ang sangkot ay mga bata.
“These kinds of crimes are very disturbing, and the worst of its kind as it targets and victimizes innocent children,” ani Abalos. (Juliet de Loza-Cudia)
