AUBURN, Ala. (WRBL) - An alleged road rage incident led to a shooting along Interstate 85 Thursday morning in Auburn with one person being arrested.
On Dec. 28, 2023, Auburn Police, with assistance from Opelika Police arrested Isaiah Donta Rose, age 24, from Tuskegee, on a felony warrant charging him with shooting into an occupied vehicle.
The arrest stems from the Opelika Police Department meeting with a victim who reported a man shot their vehicle while driving behind them on I-85. OPD officers located the suspect near the 1100 block of Columbus Parkway. During the investigation, it was determined the alleged crime occurred near mile marker 56, which is in the jurisdiction of Auburn Police. Rose was arrested and transported to the Lee County Jail on an $50,000 bond.
