COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) -- The rest of the weekend will remain quite nice and fabulous for Easter Sunday.
Mostly clear again tonight with very seasonal temperatures in the low 50s. Throughout the day on Easter, clouds will slowly increase and become mostly sunny through the afternoon and likely mostly cloudy by Sunday night.
Staying mostly cloudy and warm next week as high pressure remains entrenched across the southeast from the weekend. The ridge will hold firm until a strong cold front arrives late Tuesday and early Wednesday.
Rain chances increase ahead of a cold front and low pressure system late Tuesday and into early Wednesday morning. As of right now, severe weather parameters are low, but a few strong storms can not be ruled out especially for areas to the north.
Expect a drop in temperatures behind the frontal system. Afternoon highs go from above average to highs on Wednesday struggling to get out of the 60s. Winds become breezy while sky conditions return sunny.
