COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) -- Low pressure system has pulled out and off to the east with the help of a cold front sliding in from the north. Cold front helped clear the clouds for the remainder of your Saturday afternoon and evening whilst bringing in breezy and gusty conditions.
Tonight temperatures take a tumble with the lack of clouds with temperatures bottoming out in the upper 30s and low 40s. Sunday will be quite pleasant and sunny with highs in the upper 60s and low 70s. Late evening clouds build in for the start of the week.
Work week starts off quiet and seasonal as humidity levels increase ahead of a strong cold front that will likely bring thunderstorms to the southeast Monday night and Tuesday. Locally, thunderstorms will be likely Tuesday afternoon and evening as the front closes in.
Rest of the week remains close to average with sunny skies. Heading into Easter Weekend, temperatures warm up with rainfall chances holding off.
