Increasing clouds for Mother's Day; becoming more unsettled next week

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) -- Pleasant weather conditions continue for the remainder of the weekend with morning lows Sunday starting out in the mid to upper 50s once again. Mostly sunny skies as we start the day with increasing clouds by the late afternoon and early evening. Might go overcast at some point late Sunday night ahead of our next system that looks to bring in more rocky conditions for the start of the week.

For the upcoming week, we are tracking two separate systems that will likely impact us with more showers and storms as they move through the southeast.

Showers are likely by Monday morning and possible throughout the day as we watch a warm front lift into the region. Likely mostly cloudy to overcast sky conditions with temperatures in the upper 70s. We are watching for the increasing potential for severe storms after midnight and into Tuesday morning.

System clears for a nice midweek with temperatures in the mid 80s and mostly sunny skies.

By the end of the week we are tracking another area of low pressure that arrives late Friday and into the upcoming weekend. Stay tuned for potential severe weather with this system as well.
