COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) — College is expensive, and for many students coming up with money to pay for books and living expenses can be stressful. Goodwill Southern Rivers (GoodwillSR) is hoping to alleviate some of that stress.
GoodwillSR has announced it is continuing the "Round-up" scholarship program for a third year. The program provides financial assistance to students who are pursuing an education at an accredited community college, technical college, or university.
According to GoodwillSR, qualified students will receive $500 to cover school expenses, and the deadline to apply is June 19.
