COLUMBUS, Ga (WRBL)- A hot and humid end to our Wednesday. Temperatures today reached into the 90s, with many areas just shy of the century mark. The few pop up showers we had brought little relief.
This pattern will continue through the weekend. Expect humid conditions and temperatures in the mid 90s each afternoon. Sporadic showers and storms will be possible through Saturday afternoon.
Cold front #1 arrives Sunday and will stall out. This will bring a better chance for showers and storms at the start of next week and cooler temperatures.
Cold front #2 will follow quickly behind, moving in by mid week. This front will also stall out, bringing scattered storms starting Tuesday. Storms will linger through the end of next week, and readings will drop into the upper 80s.
