LaGrange Police searching for man accused of robbing his father

LaGrange, Ga. (WRBL) — The LaGrange Police are searching for the suspect of a robbery that occurred Tuesday night.

LaGrange Police are looking for Dequindre Langston, who police are saying robbed his father.

According to police, officers arrived at 404 Town Center Drive regarding a fight that occurred. During the initial investigation, officers determined the fight to have been a robbery by force and handed the investigation over to the Criminal Investigations Division.

CID continued conducting interviews and determined Langston attacked his father from behind, leaving him unconscious. Langston fled on foot after stealing his fathers wallet and other items from his pockets, according to police.

Police say Langston's father sustained non-life threatening injuries and declined medical assistance at the scene.
