COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) — The Columbus Convention & Trade Center is holding a superhero-centric event to help benefit a local organization.
Hero for a Day is set for Oct. 12 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the trade center. Adults get in for $15 and children $25.
Proceeds will go towards Teen Advisors.
According to the organizers, attendees will get to meet on-screen heroes and everyday heroes. Games will be available and kids will be able to touch-a-truck or try on emergency gear.
Recommended age is five to 14-years-old. Photo opportunities will be available.
Families are encouraged to sport their hero or villain costumes.
