COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) — Goodwill and Fountain City Classic are planning to award two scholarships in an upcoming event, the Cufflinks & Pearls Networking Mixer.
The scholarships are used for those seeking financial aid in covering educational expenses for school.
The nonprofit says two students will receive $500 to cover their expenses. The selected recipients will receive the award at the Cufflinks & Pearls Networking Mixer on Nov. 7.
"This initiative aligns with our mission to strengthen the local workforce and provide opportunities for those with the drive to success,” says Tricia Llewellyn-Konan, VP of Mission Services.
Goodwill says the deadline for students to submit applications is Oct. 18.
