Sub-freezing again Sunday, but winds calmer

COLUMBUS, Ga (WRBL)- Another chilly morning awaits for your Sunday as lows drop below freezing again. Expect upper 20s-lower 30s. The good news: winds will be calmer tomorrow. This will help wind-chill temperatures not be so extreme.

Get ready to buddle up when you head back to work Monday! Sub-freezing readings will continue through the first half of next week. Monday morning, get ready for wind chill (feel-like) temperatures to drop into the lower 20s and maybe even teens.

Tuesday and Wednesday area still on track to be the coldest days of the week. Lows will drop into the mid 20s both mornings, with north Georgia/Alabama seeing teens. Wind chills could dip into the upper teens. This is all due to another cold front moving in Monday.

We will begin to warm up by the end of the week. However, these warmer temperatures will be accompanied by showers starting Thursday afternoon.

We will begin to dry back out next weekend, but low temperatures will remain in the lower 40s through next Sunday. Highs will be in the upper 50s next weekend.
