COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) -- Good Monday morning! Cold and frosty start across the region again this morning with temperatures in the 30s and a few localized areas in the 20s.
Once the sun rises staying sunny throughout the entire morning with temperatures staying sub-50 through midday. Sunny and cool by the afternoon with temperatures briefly getting into the mid to low 50s later this afternoon.
Tonight clear and cold with temperatures near freezing and a warmer, seasonal day for Christmas Eve with highs in the 60s. Some high cloudiness builds in but overall sunny.
Christmas Day will start off chilly with temperatures in the 30s and climb to the 60s by the afternoon. Some late evening showers do move into the forecast and into early Thursday morning.
Staying somewhat seasonal through the end of the week as we watch the wedge build across northeast Georgia and the Carolinas. That will help keep clouds around and likely looking at isolated showers by the weekend.
