Kumpiyansa ang ilang naghain ng impeachment complaint laban kay Vice President Sara Duterte na uusad pa ang kanilang reklamo sa Kongreso.

Sa panayam ng daily program na “Agenda” nina Korina Sanchez-Roxas at Pinky Webb sa Bilyonaryo News Channel, sinabi ni Atty. Amando Virgil Ligutan, lead counsel para sa ikatlong impeachment complaint, na hindi pa rin isinumite ang mga reklamo sa Speaker’s Office.

Pero giit niya, marami pa ang maaaring mangyari at posible aniyang umusad na ang impeachment complaints sa susunod na linggo.

“Hindi pa nagsisimula ‘yung impeachment proceedings against Vice President Sara Duterte. Many things could happen. If we look at the calendar of the House, I think they will have their last session this coming Wednesday, February 5. Many things could happen from today until the last session day of the House of Representatives before they adjourn,” aniya.

“My gut feeling are telling me something will happen next week. My gut feel is that the impeachment proceedings will finally commence next week,” dagdag pa niya.

Samantala, sa pagmamaliit naman ng kampo ng mga Duterte sa pro-impeachment rallies, sinabi ni Ligutan na nagsisimula pa lamang sila.

Ayon kasi kay dating Chief Presidential Legal Counsel Salvador Panelo, walang epekto ang mga pro-impeachment rally dahil 4,000 lang ang nahakot nitong mga tao.

“We are just starting. The impeachment proceedings have yet to start. So, we are just starting with the process and if you can see, the number of participants in the rallies is increasing,” wika ni Ligutan. (Issa Santiago)
