COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL)- Following this morning's storms, reports downed trees are coming in from Troup, Talbot, and Meriwether counties. Several hundred people reported loss of power, and as of 11PM Sunday evening, approximately 400 remain without power.
Monday: Expect drier weather for the start of the work week. With clouds and humidity lingering, areas of dense fog will impact your morning commute. Temperatures will reach into the lower 90s tomorrow.
Tuesday/Wednesday: We are tracking our next storm system that is set to enter by the middle of the week. A severe weather threat is present to our north on Tuesday. This same line of storms will enter our area overnight Tuesday-Wednesday morning.
Rest of the Week: Behind this cold front, temperatures will trend below average. Get ready for the lower 80s by Friday, and morning lows will sit in the upper 50s. We will see plenty of sunshine until our next rainmaker enters next weekend.
