COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) — With the Juneteenth holiday coming up, the City of Columbus has announced which city services will be available on Thursday, June 19th.
The local government will suspend trash pickup and bus service, and close the 311 Citizens Service Center, Granite Bluff and Pine Grove Landfills, the Columbus Civic Center, Recorder's Court and Property Tax and Motor Vehicle Registration offices.
All Parks and Recreation facilities will be closed except for the following which will operate under normal business hours:
Columbus Aquatic Center
Cooper Creek Tennis Center
Lake Oliver Marina
Outdoor Pools
The Bull Creek and Oxbow Golf Courses will operate under normal hours.
Thursday trash pickup routes will be collected on Wednesday, June 18 with all other services being provided on their normal collection day.
