Mga pagkaing Pinoy bumibida sa buong mundo – Christina Frasco

Masayang ibinahagi ni Department of Tourism (DOT) Secretary Christina Frasco na namamayagpag sa buong mundo ang mga pagkaing Pilipino.

Sa programang “Parekoy” sa DWAR Abante Radyo, sinabi ni Frasco na napakaraming parangal at pagkilala na ang natanggap ng mga Filipino food, kabilang na ang sinigang.

“The good news is that ‘yung Filipino food is really having its moment all over the world,” pagbabahagi ni Frasco.

“‘Yung kagandahan din ay ‘yung mga international organization has given recognition to particular cities that have excelled in Gastronomy. Kasali na po diyan ‘yung Iloilo City declared as a UNESCO Creative City for Gastronomy,” sabi pa ni Frasco.

“Recently, nakatanggap din po ‘yung Angeles City in terms of a leading culinary destination and siyempre patuloy din ‘yung napakasarap na mga food offerings ng places like Bacolod… ang sarap ng inasal nila pati na rin po ‘yung Cebu, siyempre ‘yung lechon,” dagdag pa niya. (Issa Santiago)
