LaGrange police respond to shooting that left multiple vehicles, apartments hit by gunfire

LaGRANGE, Ga. (WRBL) — The LaGrange Police Department says a man was reportedly found uninjured in one of the many vehicles struck by gunshots inside an apartment complex.

According to the LaGrange Police Department, at approximately 12:16 a.m. on Thursday, officers responded to 1235 Hogansville Road, which is the Brittany Place Apartments, for a report of shots being fired.

Upon arrival, authorities located a man near building 11, reportedly sitting in his vehicle that was hit by gunshots.

The victim told authorities that he arrived at the location and was inside his vehicle when it was suddenly hit by gunfire. The victim says that he has no idea who shot at him or how many individuals were involved in the incident.

The investigation determined that numerous unoccupied vehicles, along with three apartments were struck by gunfire.

There were no injuries reported from any of the residents inside the apartments that were hit by the gunshots.

Authorities also say that the evidence at the scene suggested that there were two shooters.
