In her vlog on YouTube dated December 27, 2020, Kathryn said, "More than shoes, mas nag-invest ako sa bags kasi mas nagagamit ko siya while traveling...
"Once in a while, I treat myself with a bag kapag feeling ko deserve ko siya or pag birthday or Christmas, pero once in a while lang naman.
"Hindi naman siya basta gusto ko, nakukuha ko na siya in a snap. You have to work hard for it."

Not one to induge in buying luxury items on a whim, Kathryn emphasized, "Pag bumibili kasi ako, gusto ko yung parang years from now puwede ko pa rin siya magamit.
"Hindi naman ako mayaman na hindi ko na siya gagamitin next year. Gagamitin ko siya for life.
"So I make sure yung mga binibili ko yung magagamit ko kahit medyo tumanda na ako or something."
The 24-year-old Kapamilya actress also revealed asking the permission of her mom, Min Bernardo, when she fancies something expensive.
She said, "I have to ask my mom, kung okay ba sa kanya. Dapat good mood siya."

She recalled, "Nag-start lang ako nung medyo tumanda na ako, sa bags. This one, binili ko pa siya sa isang mall dito sa Manila.
"Hindi ko alam kung bakit yung first bag ko, red yung pinili ko. But I really recommend if you're gonna buy your first bag, mas yung neutral colors or black, yung mas magagamit mo."

She said, "Nagustuhan ko siya kasi ang classic niya, yung print ng Dior. And then, when traveling, sobrang convenient niya.
"Kasi pag nagta-travel, lahat ng gamit ni DJ, pinapalagay niya sa bag ko.
"So usually, kapag small bag nag-aaway kami kasi napupuno na yung small bag ko. Dito nalalagay lahat."

She said, "I got this one kasi feeling ko kailangan ko ng pang-alternate na black bag. So ito yung hiningi ko na parang Christmas gift or something.
"Super swerte ko dito kasi nung pumunta ako sa store, sabi nung girl, wala na daw kasi mahirap hanapin.
"And then sakto, bumalik siya sa stock room and sabi niya meron siyang last piece so I think it's meant to be."

She said, "I got this for my 18th birthday nung nag-Paris kami. Ito yung sobrang good buy.
"Every time meron akong kaibigan na tinatanong nila, 'Anong first bag mo?' or 'What should I buy or what color?' I suggest you buy the Chanel Boy kasi super sulit siya sa akin."
The Star Magic talent added, "It's very classic and hindi siya nagbabakbak at all."

Kathryn said, "Super sentimental ito for me kasi binili ko ito sa Hong Kong. After ng lahat ng hirap ko sa Hello, Love, Goodbye, meron kaming last three days before the flight.
"Sabi ni Mama, 'Okay I deserve a bag.' Ito talaga literal na hard work, sweat, tears, pain, oh my god, lahat."
Kathryn picked a brown-colored bag since she already owns a lot of black bags.

Kathryn totes her YSL Kate bag with tassel in Grain de Poudre embossed leather on special occasions or events.
She said, "Ito lang yung bag ko na glittery kasi na-realize ko na medyo marami akong black na bag and then, okay din bumili ng small bags na nagagamit mo kapag special occassions or medyo smart casual ka or medyo formal."
