Target buksan nang nag-level up na Philippine Volleyball League (PVL) ang unang edisyon nito bilang first professional women’s league sa bansa sa darating na April 10.
Ipinahayag Biyernes ng organizer ng PVL na si Sports Vision Management Group Inc. (SVMGI) president Richard ‘Ricky’ Palou, na walong team ang inaasahan sa pangunguna ng Creamline Cool Smashers ni beauty queen Michele Therese Gumabao ang mga kalahok.
Ang iba pa ay ang Motolite, Petro Gazz, Perlas, Bali Pure, Chef’s Classic, Philippine Army, at Philippine Air Force. (Ramil Cruz)
