Sa September 10-25, 2022 pa ang 19th Asian Games sa Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province, China, pero gusto ng dating national women’s softball team skipper, catcher at bagong secretary general ng Amateur Softball Association of the Philippines (ASA-Phil) na pabalikin na sa training ang Philippine Blu Girls.
“The national team does not have a major tournament because softball is not included in the Hanoi 2021 SEA Games, so the team will focus instead for next year’s major tournament which is the Asian Games,” lahad ng 27-anyos at nasa Blu Girls noong 2013-19 na si Francesca ‘Cheska’ Altomonte.
Hinirit pa ng miyembro ng PH clouters na nag-gold medal sa 2019 Southeast Asian Games sa ‘Pinas bago nagretiro, na kailangang umpisahan na ang ensayo ngayong taon sa kabila na mabigat ang hamon ng pandemya. (Ramil Cruz)
