DND may naispatan uli na mga Chinese sa WPS

Kinumpirma ni National Defense officer-in-charge, Undersecretary Jose Faustino Jr., ang presensiya ng Chinese militias sa West Philippine Sea.

Sa media briefing, sinabi ni Faustino na makikipag-usap sila sa National Task Force for the West Philippine Sea (NTF-WPS) para magawan ng sagot ang pagpasok sa territorial waters ng China.

“Right now, we have sightings of some particularly Chinese militia vessels and some of the Chinese Coast Guard in the contested areas and through the National Task Force for the West Philippine Sea, which is chaired by the National Security Adviser, we coordinate with the NTF-WPS on how to address these incursions,” sinabi ni Faustino Jr..

Hindi naman sila magbibigay ng kahit isang pulgada ng teritoryo ng Pilipinas pero iginiit na malamang ay susundin muna nila ang polisiya ng nagdaang administrasyon.

Gayunman ay nagpahayag ng kahandaan ang DND ng mapayapang resolusyon sa WPS. (Kiko Cueto)
