Kabilang din sina Niño Christian Duller at Shagne Paola Yaoyao sa mga nagpasiklab sa katatapos na PhilCycling (Integrated Cycling Federation of the Philippines) National Championships for BMX sa Tagaytay City BMX Track sa Cavite.
Nagposte si Duller ng 44.94 upang magbida sa Men’ Junior na sinundan nina Benedicto Simbulan (4.337 seconds behind) at Kolin Avel Sumagui (4.882), anak ni PhilCycling secretary general Atty. Avelino Sumagi.
Si Yaoyao naman ang namayagpag sa women’s standard sa 49.873 secs sa track na may bagong bubong, unang pasilidad sa BMX cycling sa Southeast Asia.
“Finally, we’re racing on the UCI (International Cycling Union) BMX track,” pahayag ni PhilCycling at Philippine Olympic Committee president Abraham ‘Bambol’ Tolentino. “Sooner or soon, these track will be full of BMX riders.
