Nagbigay ng paglilinaw si Markus Paterson hinggil sa nag-viral at pinag-usapang pahayag niya sa episode 1 ng “Boys After Dark” vlog sa YouTube channel.
Matatandaang sa naturang digital show ay nagbigay ng payo si Markus sa mga batang artista na huwag daw mag-date ng ibang babaeng artista.
Of coure, ang hinala ng marami ay ang ex-girlfriend niyang si Janella Salvador ang kanyang pinariringgan. Dahil dito ay nakatanggap si Markus ng mga kaliwa’t kanang bashings from the netizens.
Sa 3rd episode ng Boys After Dark with Anthony Jennings, Jae Miranda, Gello Marquez at Aljon Mendoza, sa simula pa lang ng show ay nagbigay na ng kanyang statement si Markus hinggil dito.
“Going back to episode one and the recent backlash of that, I would like to keep this short and sweet…
“If I could go back in time and change what I said, honestly, I would not.
“I stand by what I said because what I said comes from my past, from my truth, and that’s my honest opinion about my future potential relationships. Yun lang yun,” pahayag ni Markus.
“Secondly, huwag kayong mag-assume. Okay? Let’s not jump to conclusions or anything because you kinda are,” mensahe ni Markus sa mga bashers.
At pangatlo, nilinaw niyang malaki ang respeto niya sa ina ng kanyang anak na si Jude.
“Thirdly, I respect Janella to the utmost of my ability, the woman that she’s become, the mother that she’s become.
“I will love her forever. She gave me the best gift of my life. Yun lang,” he said.
Nabanggit din ni Markus na dahil lang daw sa kanilang anak kaya naririto pa siya sa Pilipinas.
“If I did not have Jude, I would be back in the UK already. I’d be in the Air Force or I’d be in the army or be happy.
“But of course, at the end of the day, I just wanna bring it back to the fact that me and Janella are good, we’re friends, we are co-parenting because obviously, our priority is Jude. She’s an amazing mother and I’m trying to be an amazing father,” pahayag pa ni Markus.
Dagdag pa niya, “biggest blessing of course, Jude, yeah. Jude is for sure my biggest blessing and the fact that she’s the one that gave him to me, I will never not love her. Maybe not romantically anymore but she will always be a huge part of my heart.”
