TRAFFIC ALERT: Part of U.S. 29 in Lee County closed

LEE COUNTY, Ala. (WRBL) — A portion of a highway in Lee County is closed as a wrecker removes a vehicle from the roadway, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA).

The vehicle became inoperable around 12:36 p.m. on April 11, leaving U.S. Highway 29 near Lee County Road 270 blocked.

It's uncertain at this time when the roadway will re-open.
