LaGRANGE, Ga. (WRBL) — If you're a LaGrange local looking to adopt a feline, you can get one for free through the end of August.
According to the City of LaGrange, the shelter is offering free adoptions for both cats and kittens due to extreme overcrowding. Additionally, outlets that formerly helped transport animals to find homes in other parts of the country are no longer receiving animals.
The city would like to encourage the public to have their cats and dogs fixed to help control pet population.
