Boying Remulla, Pulong Duterte ‘sabong’ sa Davao sentro ng flood control

Tahasang sinabi ni Ombudsman Jesus Crispin “Boying” Remulla na ang Davao City umano ang epicenter ng flood control.

“Ang epicenter po ng flood control bago dumating Marcos administration ay Davao City- ang ecosystem of corruption po mabigat- mahirap pong pasukin- mahirap pong kumuha ng impormasyon. Davao po yung ecosystem na aming tinutukoy kasi dun po malaki ang pumasok na pondo sa flood control,” paglalahad ni Remulla sa hearing ng House Committee on Appropriations nitong Martes.

Inamin pa ng Ombudsman na kabilang ang flood control project sa Davao sa iniimbestigahan ngayon ng kanilang tanggapan.

“Ito po ay pinag aaralan na namin kasi ang mahalaga po makita namin ang ebidensya sa ground your honor,” paliwanag ni Remulla.

Agad namang sinagot ni Davao City Rep. Paolo “Pulong” Duterte ang akusasyon ni Remulla. Aniya, dapat munang tingnan ng Ombudsman ang record ng Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH).

“Huwag sana tayong padalos-dalos sa (pagbibitiw ng) mga salita at baka ikasisira lang ito ng kredibilidad ng institusyon,” buwelta ni Duterte.
