Sheriff's Office arrest six after drive-by shootings on Lee Rd. 379 leaves one injured

LEE COUNTY, Ala. (WRBL) – The Lee County Sheriff's Office (LCSO) said that six were arrested in connection with two separate drive-by shootings that left a woman injured after she was shot in her home while sleeping.

According to LCSO, on June 5, the sheriff's office received multiple reports about two drive-by shootings in the 12000 block of Lee Road 379.

LCSO said both shootings happened at the same residence two hours apart. At least 40 shell casings were recovered from the residence including .40 caliber and .556 caliber casings. Besides finding the shell casings, investigators noted that several bullets hit the house and a vehicle.

On the morning of June 10, LCSO said the Valley Police Department received a report about a drive-by shooting that resulted in a female being shot inside her home while sleeping. Authorities found 60 shell casings at her residence including casings for a .40 caliber, .556 caliber, .300 blackout and a 9mm.

A few days later on June 15, LCSO investigators and the Lee County SWAT team executed three warrants at multiple residences simultaneously. Authorities searched homes in the 200 block of South Raintree Stree, the 300 block of Wittel Avenue, and the 500 block of Antioch Circle.

During the searches, law enforcement recovered eight firearms, marijuana and cash. Following the search and recovery of evidence, the six individuals listed below were arrested and charged with:

Jamarion Satterwhite, 19, from Waverly, Alabama -

  • Two counts of discharging a firearm into an occupied dwelling
  • Shooting into an unoccupied vehicle

Timothy Lamar Bell, 19, from Opelika, Alabama -

  • Two counts of discharging a firearm into an occupied dwelling
  • Shooting into an unoccupied vehicle

Demarious Tyquez Stemario Ross, 19, from Opelika, Alabama -

  • Two counts of discharging a firearm into an occupied dwelling
  • Shooting into an unoccupied vehicle

Kymi Jaqwon Davis -

  • Second-degree receiving stolen property

Alijah Dayshun Moss-Rowell, 18, from Opelika, Alabama -

  • Second-degree possession of marijuana

Cord Smith, 37, from Opelika, Alabama, was arrested on multiple outstanding warrants our of Lee County.

LCSO says that Satterwhite, Bell, and Ross are currently being held at the Lee County Jail on a $105,000 bond. The others have posted bonds on their listed charges since the incident.
