COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) — A business that works to develop and restore communities across the nation is holding a special celebration in Columbus.
On Aug. 22, the Community Reinvestment Department welcomes the community to celebrate the 50th anniversary of its Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program at City Hall.
According to the CRD, the event will be an opportunity to reflect on the grant program's outstanding achievements and recognize its continuing importance in fostering inclusive and sustainable communities.
Light refreshments will be included at the event, as well as informative tables showcasing meaningful projects from several subrecipients of the program.
