Sgt. Jane Edenfield with the Columbus Police Department's property & financial crimes unit came by WRBL for a live interview. Edenfield walked us through the ins-and-outs of the latest financial scams.
One common theme Edenfield has seen is scammers trying to impersonate law enforcement officers through a variety of avenues, including social media. These scammers may even us an actual officer's name in order to make themselves more believeable.
