AUBURN, Ala. (WRBL) — The funeral arrangements for the mother and daughter killed in a July 10 incident, involving a Lee County man has been set.

Auburn City Schools Superintendent Dr. Cristen Herring, principals, teachers, students, local churches, organizations, and key figures of the community will also be attending the funeral service. The repass will happen at the Tuskegee Municipal Complex at 101 Fonville St., Tuskegee, AL 36083.

On July 10, it was a grim discovery when Auburn police conducting a welfare check found the bodies of Tyeisha Williams and Zy’nnya inside a home on Samantha Court. Authorities believed that the two were killed within 48 hours of being found.

41-year-old Aaron Dontay Williams was accused of murder and initially was wanted by authorities on charges of double homicide and kidnapping, which led to an urgent search for 3-year-old Jibreel Harun, the biological son of Aaron and Tyeisha Williams.

A statewide Amber Alert was issued, and authorities described Aaron Williams as armed and dangerous. Aaron Williams was taken into custody in Tennessee, while the child was found safe.

He was then extradited from Giles County Jail to the Auburn Police Department after waiving his right to fight extradition.

He made his first court appearance this month and now faces kidnapping charges and four counts of capital murder, including one that is under Alabama's new law: It is a capital offense to kill a parent or guardian in the presence of a young child.
