Pormal nang nagkasundong magpapakasal sina Tarlac 1st District Representative Carlos “Charlie” Cojuangco at partner na si China Jocson sa isang intimate betrothal ceremony last Dec. 29.
Ang nasabing intimate event ay ginanap sa Josemaria Escriva Shrine, Geron, Tarlac na dinaluhan lang ng ilan nilang close family and friends,Tarlac mayors, congressmen and Gov. Susan Yap.
Witnesses sa nasabing seremonya ang mga Mayor ng Tarlac. Kasama rin sa personal entourage ni China ang kanyang mga kapatid na lalaki and 2 closest friends.
Present din ang mga kapatid ni Rep Charlie na sina Mark and Jaime.
According to the Catholic Encyclopedia, a betrothal is a morally binding contract and a commitment to marry at a future time.
The 57 year old Congressman is expected to formally marry his partner next year although wala pang sinabing detalye tungkol dito.
China Jocson is the former Assistant to former Presidential Spokesperson Ernesto Abella and a former GMA broadcast journalist. (ART)
