Magtatapos na ang libreng sakay sa ilang public utility jeepneys (PUJs) at mga bus sa Metro Manila sa ilalim ng service contracting program ayon sa Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB).
Base sa data ng LTFRB, nasa 146 National Capital Region public utility jeepney (PUJ) cooperatives at mga kooperatiba at korporasyon ang titigil ang libreng sakay sa Hunyo 30 o pagbaba ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte.
“For the buses, Busway will end by July pa as well as Commonwealth Route 7 bus from Montalban to Quezon Avenue,” sinabi ni LTFRB Executive Director Tina Cassion.
Nitong Abril 11, ang EDSA Busway Carousel ay nagsimula ng libreng sakay sa ilalim ng Department of Transportation’s (DOTr) service contracting program. (Kiko Cueto)
