Malaki ang posibilidad na rarampa sa 76th Cannes Film Festival si Blackpink Jennie.
Ang kanyang HBO’s new series na “The Idol” ay naimbitahang sumali for the Out of Competition section.
Ang The Idol ay Created by The Weeknd and “Euphoria” creator Sam Levinson. Tungkol ito sa isang pop singer named Jocelyn (Lily-Rose Depp) na nagkaroon ng romance sa enigmatic cult leader (The Weeknd).
Magsisilbi rin ito na unang acting debut ni Jennie and is reported to premiere out of competition at the 76th Cannes Film Festival in May 2023.
Kinumpirma naman ng agency ng Blackpink, ang YG Entertainment na imbitado nga ito, pero hindi pa nila masagot kung makaka-attend.
Bukod kay Jennie, pasok din ang “ Hopeless” ni Song Joong.
The 2023 Cannes Film Festival will take place from May 16.
