Tila pabida umano si Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Chairperson Prospero “Popoy” de Vera III matapos hilingin sa mga pinuno ng mga higher education institution sa National Capital Region (NCR) at iba pang rehiyon na ipalabas ang video message niya sa mga college graduation.
Hinirit din nitong mag-send sa kanya ng screenshot, Facebook Live link o litrato bilang pruweba na ipinalabas ang video message niya sa mga 2024 Commencement Exercises.
Ang kautusan ay nakapaloob sa memorandum na may petsang July 15, 2024 at naka-address sa lahat ng regional director.
“Attach is a copy of the communication from the Office of the CHED chairperson regarding the message of Chairman Popoy de Vera for the 2024 Commencement Exercises requesting that the message be played during the commencement exercises in Higher Education Institutions (HEIs),” ayon sa bahagi ng memo.
“Please send a screenshot, Facebook live link, or photos as proof that the video was played during the commencement exercises through chedncr@ched.gov.ph” dagdag na bilin sa memo.
Sa kanyang video message, binati niya ang mga graduate ng Class of 2024.
“Isang pribilehiyo ang makasama ko kayo sa pinakamahalagang araw ng inyong pagtatapos,” aniya.
Hiniling din niya sa mga graduate na huwag kalimutang pasalamatan ang mga propesor.
“Kung hindi dahil sa kanila, hindi naging maganda ang ating paglalakbay papunta sa ating pagtatapos,” wika niya.
