Rain clearing tonight; unsettled pattern continues

COLUMBUS, Ga (WRBL)- Yet another day of strong storms, but the rain has cleared out for many of us this evening. We can't rule out a few sporadic showers in the overnight, but the majority of us will remain dry.

Showers and storms will begin to build quickly after midday tomorrow, and will become widespread by early afternoon. Severe chances are low, but one or two could become strong. These storms will linger until after sunset. Temperatures will remain in the mid to upper 80s again Sunday.

Rain chances will back off slightly at the start of the week, but we will still see a chance for storms each afternoon. A better chance for widespread storms returns by midweek and will continue through Thursday evening.

This stalled out front that is causing this unsettled pattern will finally be pushed out by next weekend. However, there will still be a small chance for afternoon storms. Readings will slowly warm into the lower 90s.
