AcroCity NBA Legends Cup Peb. 22 didribol sa Bacolod

Buong aayudahan ng AcroCity ang Negros Basketball Association (NBA) Invitational Basketball Tournament na sasambulat sa Feb. 22 sa Po Hang gym ng Tay Tung School sa Bacolod City.

Tatawagin ding AcroCity presents NBA Legends Cup, ito ay pagtitipon ng mga kilalang Negrense player na ang ilan ay sina dating Ginebra star Noli Locsin, Bong Ravena, mag-utol na Villarias – Vernie at Vic – at iba pa na mga nagpasiklaban noon sa major collegiate at amateur leagues, at kalaunan sa Philippine Basketball Association.

“We are more than glad to be part of this momentous event that will see Negros legends showcase once again the talents that have made them big in various leagues,” bulalas noong Huwebes ni Czark Mark Group executive vice president Angelo Wongchuking.

“We have lots of friends from Negros who played for my team before, including Victor Villarias,” hirit ni Wongchuking.

Gaya nang nakatatandang si Vernie, kumampanya si Victor sa University of the East Red Warriors sa University Athletic Association of the Philippines, at pagkaraan ay sa Philippine Basketball League.

“We know very well how they are missed by their families, friends and fans, so we are giving our support to their reunion games to provide fun,” dagdag ni CZM Director Keith Wongchuking Jr.

Papadrino rin sa kaganapan ang Upgrade, Apir at Sapporo, na paparangalan din ang mga nagtatag na opisyal ng NBA, sa pangunguna nang yumaong si Dodong Bascon.

Bilang pagtanaw ng utang na loob sa kaninag komunidad na buong sumuporta sa kanilang mga karera sa mahabang panahon, pinasya ng NBA legends na gawing libre ang panonood ng publiko sa nalalapit na liga. (Abante Tonite Sports)
