COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) -- Good Monday Morning! Starting off much quieter this morning across the region, but temperatures have taken quite a dip falling into the 30s and likely around freezing by daybreak.
Expect plenty of sunny skies today while temperatures remain below average with highs only getting into the low 50s this afternoon.Tonight becomes cold again under clear skies, but that won’t last for long as clouds are expected to increase throughout Tuesday with temperatures closer to 60 by the afternoon.
By Wednesday morning we are tracking our next rainmaker. However, this system will not have any severe weather component. This system will just be a cold rain event primarily for your Wednesday morning as the low moves through. However, behind this system get ready for quite the cool down again.
Thursday morning temperatures plummet into the 20s with wind chill values likely in the teens for some. Highs struggle all day Thursday afternoon to reach the low 40s. Friday stays cool with low 20s for morning lows.
Weekend moderates a tad, but we are tracking a few showers by the second half.
