COLUMBUS, GA (WRBL)- Following severe weather this morning, power outages persistent across the northern part of the viewing area. Emergency management services are working to clean up fallen trees.
Our focus now shifts to the chilly winter weather on the way tomorrow morning. Lows tonight will drop below freezing. When you add in the breezy winds, it will feel like 20s and teens for us all. Expect much of the same Tuesday morning.
Our next rain maker will move into the forecast Wednesday. Expect widespread showers early Wednesday. This will likely impact our Wednesday AM commute.
Lows will trend even colder at the end of the week. Lows will drop into the upper 20s Thursday and Friday. Expect wind chill temperatures to be in the mid-teens. Highs will be in the low-mid 50s. Conditions will remain dry through next weekend.
