COLUMBUS, GA (WRBL)- Ending the weekend on a beautiful note. Temperatures today once again rose into the 70s. Tonight we will see lows trend cooler, dropping into the 50s Monday morning.
Expect much of the same for the start of the school week. Mostly cloudy skies with peeks of sunshine. Temperatures, however, will only warm into the 60s.
We are watching a storm system starting to move through the southeast on Tuesday. While the bulk of the heavy rain will remain to our north until Wednesday, be aware if you need to travel. Scattered showers and storms move in Wednesday-Friday AM. Some of this will be heavy at times.
After a break Friday afternoon, another front will push through this weekend. Showers and storms move back into the forecast Saturday PM/Sunday AM.
