Sinimulan nina Rhian Ramos at Glaiza de Castro noong 2015 ang GL trend sa telebisyon. Ito ay sa seryeng “The Rich Man’s Daughter.”
Naging inspirasyon ito ng producers ng Wide International Film and Entertainment na sina April Martin at Pauline Publico sa kanilang latest offering na “I Fell, It’s Fine” na reunion project ng dalawa at idinirehe ng magaling na direktor na si Sigrid Andrea Bernardo.
“I feel so happy and excited. I feel there’s an unfinished business (dahil nabitin ako kay Glaiza),” pakli niya.
Pagkukumpisal pa niya, matagal na raw niyang inaasam na magkaroon sila ng movie ni Glaiza lalo pa’t may clamor ang fans noon sa kanilang tambalan na nabuo sa nasabing teleserye.
“I think, we finally found producers who are brave enough to make this project happen. After all this time, we really wanted to do another project. I think, it’s destiny na rin kaya nangyari,” ani Rhian.
Sa presscon ng naturang GL movie, natanong naman ng Abante Tonite ang aktres kung naligawan na ba siya ng kapuwa babae.
“To my knowledge, wala pa naman. Not in my experience, “bulalas niya.
Gayunpaman, kung may magpaparamdam daw sa kanya, wala raw naman siya sa posisyon para mag-discriminate lalo pa’t naniniwala siyang ‘all is fair in love regardless of gender.’
“I would be flattered.Wala naman akong nakikitang difference kung guy o girl iyong naa-attract sa iyo. It’s very flattering actually.It’s a person to person basis, eh di ko naman sinabi kung sasagutin ko siya o hindi.It’s really up to what kind of connection you have with that person,”paliwanag niya.
Nakunan din siya ng kanyang stand hinggil sa kaso ng isang kontrobersyal na public official na inaming pinapantasya niya ang isang kilalang aktres.
“I think this country is very patriarchal country to begin with.There’ s not enough education to go around na we could catch up with the rest of the world already. We should understand that women are not items or something that you could own or use at your own will.You have to understand, may sarili kaming puso at isip.I would understand that some people get flattered to know na pinagpapantasyahan sila but do you think that I don’t have fantasies as well. These are the things that you keep to yourself out of respect for another human being. But if you have the feeling that you can say it out loud, maybe you’re not viewing them as good human beings.I hope that all the good fathers out there can raise their sons to understand how to respect women as equals or partners and not as something that you own,” makahulugan niyang pahayag.
Naurirat din ang aktres hinggil sa kaso ng personal driver niya na inakusahan siya at ang mga kaibigang sina Michelle Dee at Samantha Panlilio ng umano’y pambubugbog.
Aniya, pinag-aaralan na raw ng kanyang kampo ang pagsasampa ng kaukulang demanda sa mga taong sangkot.
“Definitely, I’m already exploring all those options .Too much has been said and done and I cannot understand the intentions of people doing it.Damage has been done and someone has to take responsibility for that,” pagtatapos niya.
